About the Director

Hello, My name is Jared Dallas and I am the creator, director, and one of the actors of Project Deactivate. I have a passion for story telling and immersion into other worlds to escape reality for a little bit at a time.

About the Casting call & Project Deactivate

Project Deactivate is a live immersive theater event that takes place in a Sci-Fi fantasy setting. The event is being held At St.Mark UMC. This is part 3 of a 4 part event and is our biggest production to date! If you fill out the form please be on the lookout for a text from myself to confirm the part you would like. If you think you would be great for one or more of these roles please fill out the form below!

PLEASE NOTE - This is a volunteer position with no pay, however food will be provided free of charge on both rehearsal nights as well as on show night.

- ALL roles are high energy that will require some cardio and will be preformed in dark or pitch black areas at points. With lighting and strobe effects, Fog effects. loud and startling noises. However safety is the #1 priority.

- Please see all roles available below! [please note the number of actors needed for each role. Also if it has a (S) beside it, the role has a set script, if it has a (I) by it that is a heavy improv role.

Roles Avalable

[1 actor] (S) Val- He is the main antagonist behind everything, intimidating and slightly arrogant. He’s not afraid to do what ever it takes to get what he needs.

[1 actor] (S) Dr. Farfellow - He is the owner of the company who had been missing for a number of years. Slightly paranoid but a straight forward and kind guy.

[1 actor] (I) The janitor - He or she is a regular janitor that becomes mixed up in a sacrifice to a machine. {NOT RECOMMENDED FOR PEOPLE WITH ASTHMA!}

[5 actors] (I) Vampire extras - The pack of vampires are under the rule of the vampire leader, whom they protect. They also don’t like their space to be invaded.

[5 actors] (I) Werewolf extras - This pack of wolves will follow their leader similar to the vampires. However they’re a much more laid back bunch that likes to have fun and play games and doesn’t mind sharing their space if they get to know you.

[1 actor] (I) Vampire leader - The leader of the vampires is a very strict guy/girl who won’t take no for an answer and doesn’t like the sanctuary invaded. He or she is protective of their own and will attack any one who comes near. However given the chance the vampires will toy with their “prey”.

[1 actor] (I) The Sheriff - He or She is the law enforcement who has a calm and level headed demeanor but can be forceful when needed.
